Hi! It seems to be a #386 if your watermark identification is correct. Hinged catalogs for $120 but the nick reduces that greatly. My guess is it's worth about $5. ccndd Chris

If it is single line, then it might be a 386.
Warning Signs
1. The perfs are close to being aligned, a 'no-no' for a flat plate coil.
2. There appears to be some regumming at the top.
3. Centering appears to be very good, not typical for W/F coils
Good Things
1. Perf holes not perfectly aligned
2. Not a rare stamp so less likely to be faked
3. No obvious trimming
On balance and without having stamp in hand, I am leaning towards a legit 386 with faults and suspect gum

Compare it to a known genuine coil from the same era. If the imperf sides of this stamp are wider than the known example, then there is a good chance it is a fake of an imperf stamp. Coils cannot be "jumbo", because they were trimmed to fit in coil dispensers. Coils with too large margins would result in the stamps getting jammed in the dispensers.
