Once upon a time .... PBS used to show some dance competitions, mainly blackpool i think but at least something... Now the best you can hope for on main line TV is dancing with the stars. so sad. Unless you cough up for flo sports $$$ (i know you - never heard of it)
Here is today's ultimate cosmopolitan episode: yulia (russian, tinged with ukranian), riccardo (italian) 7 times latin world champs: at the 2019 ukranian ball showdance
`doing the cha cha cha to petty booka's (japanese ukulele duo - restricted to vocals here) version of grace lane's (long ago english lyrics) to titus turner's afro-american arrangement of Cha cha cha blah blah blah. For all those like me with 2 left feet! This is a dying art dance
take a chance and see what you think... personally I always get a kick out of the couple at the table at the end of dance ...
yes! i checked it works this time - long shot but who knows, may be there is
someone out there with two right feet ...

I think the Jive (40's-50's) and Brylcreem (dates from 1928) went hand in hand (in hair?). The Brycreem warning ought to keep you away from these jive cats celebrating a little ZZ Top (La Grange)...

My mom always used to reference Brylcream commercials when I was little - my initials are DAB, so she would always sing "a little DAB'll do you" when I was getting to be a handful.
