re: MY WIFE'S LATEST FIFTY CENT GIFT FROM THE LOCAL OPP SHOP
Nice souvenir sheets, my partner says she isn't into stamps yet joined the ACCC and is always into discussions about stamps, she is very popular at the club, I'm seen forlorn in the background; I just cannot understand women.

I've got some great bargains at OPP shops ,I got 14 albums all leather with slipcases full of MNH world wide and 168 FDC for $28-00.from one shop and 2 albums full of MNH S/S of Australia they were a bit more expensive but still worth it.
Love OPP shops

The US version is the Goodwill Store, and we have one in town.
As with the OP Shop, there is an abundance of old clothes, bric-a-brac, and assorted junk like used toys. If you are looking for old VHS tapes, odd dishes or pre flat screen TVs, this is the place! One time my wife bought a small appliance that was in a sealed box. Got it home and upon opening found it was full of old books. They did take it back.
I have found an occasional toy car, interesting tshirt, but never anything philatelic at all. I can walk through the place and 90% of the time I find nothing of interest. Somehow others manage to fill a cart!
re: MY WIFE'S LATEST FIFTY CENT GIFT FROM THE LOCAL OPP SHOP
I always look for stamprelated stuff in thrift stores (or charity shops, or secondhand stores or whatever one calls them. Over here in the Netherlands they are called Kringloopwinkels = recirculation/recycling stores) but rarely find anything even vaguely interesting. a few years ago I had a couple of Michel catalogues for a few euros each and I once found a few stockbooks at the local municipal waste station. I took them of course. Not much of value, but the stockbook is still used.

"Know what you mean Rob,
I asked Alexa "What do women want?"
The flippng thing hasn't shut up for three days.
No offence to our lady members intended, the joke could no doubt be reversed."
OMG heeeeelarious! Not offensive at all.
Mr Computer aka Hubby has placed Alexas in the kitchen, office, den, and google AND Alexa in his office. Sheesh! We call her “she who will not be named, haha. She does make a great egg timer ? heh heh.
