After a long illness and then time taken up with family, all new plumbing (after our pipes started leaking all over the place ugh! ) and the follow up work which is still ongoing, traveling and other interests, I have once again dusted off my stamp books. It has been over two years, yikes! It is summer time in Florida which is when we hide in the AC to get away from the heat and humidity, so this a great time for indoor hobbies.
I see many familiar folks are still here and active which is wonderful. How is everyone?
I am digging through a box full of papers and I came across some unanswered correspondence that must have arrived when I was under the weather. Apologies to anyone who did not get a reply. I will try to respond soon.
My poor neglected stamps! I think I will be narrowing my collection to Ireland, Japan, Bermuda and maybe a few others like Denmark and Finland. Still debating over the rest. How some of you collect the world just boggles my mind. Wowzer!
Is the Holocaust project still accepting donations?
Anyways, hello again to all!

Glad you have the stamp bug again. You and your kind disposition were a great asset to SOR! Also glad that your leaking plumbing issue was just related to your home!

p.s. The Holocaust program in the U.S. met their goals but there is a Canadian project still active that has posted on this board.
I forgot how interesting the discussions here can be. I popped in to check my messages and read for an hour. The comments are lucid, often witty and erudite. Stamp collectors are cool people, yes?
