I've been playing around with your auctions for about a month. I've bid on 53 items and have finally been overbid on an item - everything else went on my first bid. That's a success rate on one bid of 98% assuming I don't get overbid in the next couple weeks on any other item that I'm on at the moment. Not trying to say or imply anything - just playing with the numbers. This is totally different from E-Bay, which is not really a bad thing.
There are few things that i "must have",but when they show up..i will bid up.

re: finally been over bid
Philb - Me too! I just find it a bit strange that so many of the items seem to go for the first bid. I guess part of it is that there are a lot less potential bidders.
Musicman has covered it all.I list from time to time a few items in the auction section with middling success.I find that the approval books are the most effective and efficient way of presenting your material for sale. For material you might consider for auction but wish to put into an approval booklet, you just have to come up with the lowest price you would be happy with and get on with it.
