re: Bergedorf stamps.

Based on image quality

1/2 Sch has the traits of a genuine and appears to be a 1a
1 Sch has the traits of a genuine
1 1/2 Sch has the traits of a genuine
3 Sch is not genuine and appears to be an 1887 reprint
4 Sch is a forgery not a reprint - uneven not overlapping rings unlike the 1 & 1.5 are a first clue

This is a fairly good outcome as the forgeries and reprints far outnumber genuine ones in auctions

With some effort these can be plated
My Bergedorf article should be up shortly

Reprints fall under these dates
