Hello everyone
I am George from Romania and started this philatelic hobby 2 years ago when I inherited a catalog of old stamps from Central and South America, French, Portuguese and Spanish colonies.
My help was stampworld in the evaluation of stamps and auction sites as well. I started with the desire to sell the inherited stamps and I have now come to buy stamps (like a small budget).
My domain of interest is Germany (the old states, colonies, WWI, WWII, Empire, Reich III, occupation of allies) Democratic Republic and Federal Republic until 1970. I bought many stamps and I noticed that many varieties are repertoire but how do I not know at all German I hope to find German speakers.
French is the language I know best and of course English (with Google translation help)
My family emigrated from Transylvania after the First War (ethnic Hungarians), and I remember Grandma getting letters from there all franked with Romanian stamps.
I collect Germany, too, but only Republic and Occupation.

re: George from Romania
Hi George,
Welcome. One of my collecting areas is Germany - all eras, occupations, colonies, etc. A fascinating area to collect and seemingly endless when you put together the States, Colonies and Occupations. Not only German occupation but other occupation of German territory. Areas changed hands so often and particularly during the two world wars and during the time of treaties.
