Not a paper type, but rather a badly toned stamp. The question is why would one stamp be that toned and the other one not toned? Perhaps someone originally use a glue on the one stamp and the adhesive has caused the paper to tone and become acidic?
Clearly something either chemical or environmental has happened to the left hand stamp.

I never thought of the stamp being glued on,that must be it,I'll have a good look when it arrives.
