I have a 1920's stamp ( Scott # 243 ) with a perfin reading G L B with the B under the G L - does anyone know what it stands for?

If you can read German, here is a link to the German Perfin Society;

He musicman,

If you are on the site you mentioned you can see in the top right corner a so-called dropdown box were you can choose your language.

Ooooo thanks for that link, Musicman! Bookmarking that one.

Ever notice that many of the most information dense Philatelic sites are German? Heck, some of the best Irish Philatelic writers are German - example- Hibernian is actually a German publication. OTTO Jung was the rock star of many areas of Irish philately and, of course, in my humble opinion, none of the major worldwide catalogs come close to Michels level. If only my German were a bit better!

Just curious - what is the Chinese equivalent to Michel or Scott’s?

HockeyNut,

The translation tab completely slipped my mind that time - thanks!
