I recently decided to add the Swiss officials for the UN and League of Nations to my UN section I call part of my US BOB. There's also a series of Dutch officials that seem to fit as well. I know they are technically not US BOB but they seem to fit quite nicely with my complete to 1986 UN collection. Does anyone else out there feel the same and is there anything else I might add? I find the many BOB stamps very interesting including the protectorates like Guam, Cuba, Canal Zone, UN, Philippines and Puerto Rico. For some reason Hawaii is never considered except in the specialized US catalog which also includes Danish West Indies and The Ryukyu Islands. Should I also include them? Does anyone else?
Harvey, by Dutch officials do you mean the International Court of Justice stamps from the Hague ? phil

Yes Phil that's what I mean - they seem to fit in very nicely with my UN collection and the officials from Switzerland as well. It beefs out the UN in US BOB.
i collect Guatemala and several specialized books are needed to cover their back of book. I saw these(not Guatemala but i figured they fit in) in a dealers miscellaneous material at a small show in Vermont and could not snap them up fast enough..they are not rare in unused condition but a block of 6 looks nice.
Just noticed the overprints are "all over the board."

re: Swiss and Netherlands added to my US BOB
I'll change the thread a bit - your stamps fascinated me so I did a bit of "work" on line. There are a few on E-Bay and an average price seems to be about 10 Euros. It's considered to be a cinderella now, but according to one article I found Scott's recognized it as a "stamp" in the 1903 edition. There is supposedly an article about these stamps in the July 2004 Scott's magazine. Also there seems to be the opinion that these were never actually used since used copies don't seem to exist yet! Great stamps Phil, I don't collect Mexico, but it would be interesting to find one!
