In your first post, both stamps are revenues. The one on the left is from Manchukuo, and the other is from China.
In your second post, both are from Japan.
The stamp on the left is either Scott #144 (issued in 1929) or #251 (issued in 1937), depending on the watermark.
The other is Scott #80, issued in 1899
Both stamps are defintives. With the perfin on the left stamp, and the damage to the one on the right, neither stamp is of much value.
