It seems that the machine (and, yes, it is The Machine) at the supplier (and, yes, it is The Supplier) has been out of service for some months, and is awaiting a part.
I bought manila stock pages because I have been experimenting with removing PSA stamps from covers & parcels, and want them to be able to outgas more freely & completely than they might in those lovely stock pages with clear plastic strips.
I bought a small pile so I could corner the market, and put them on eBay for U$D 10 each, postpaid
Cheers,

"I collect stamps today precisely the way I collected stamps when I was ten years old."
I ordered a bunch for the shop (packets of ten), last week, from Umitrade. I should get my order Tuesday or Wednesday. If I do, I'll report to you whether I received them or not.

i have hundreds of them..just have to toss the cheap stamps and keep the card...i don't like them for displaying my stamps..they obstruct too much of the stamp.
Sorry Ikey, I guess I should not assume that because a website advertizes items for sale that it means they have some.
Personally it irritates me no end, and I have been known to cancel other items when they tell me it is on back order or some other excuse. Sellers to lazy to update their website.
Again, sorry for wasting your time.
Just got an email from a supplier that they now have the Manila display cards back in stock. Those are the ones dealers use for souvenir sheets, booklets etc. Subway manufactures them on the same machine that they use to make Manila stock cards.

"Just one more small collection, hun, really! LoL "
No link. This was a heads up that the Manila manufacturing machine may be working again. I trust every member is perfectly capable of checking their favorite supplier to see if the product they have been waiting for is now available. These folks are brainiac philatelists after all, eh? They don’t need no stinkin’ Linkin’ haha!

I am fortunate enough to have a real live stamp store in my area (Kappy's in Norwood, MA) and he often has a stack of used ones for 50-75 cents apiece. He probably has new ones too and anything else you might need. I tend to buy several large WW lots at auction every year and there's always a half dozen or more in the lot. Possible solution: buy more large box lots of WW material at auction! Works for me!
The supplier I had been using for years Golden Valley in Minnesota - still show the manilla approval cards out of stock. I guess Subway would be the first to have them before the other sellers get them. However the last I checked in November Subway was still showing them like you could order them but you then you find they are on back order when you submit an order. I guess it is best to contact them first before trying to order. I am still in fine shape with all of the cards I was able to get second hand especially from (WebPaper) here. If anyone sees they are available again - please post the annoucement here ! Thanks, Steve
UPDATE - I just went on the Subway site - there is no sign of the Manilla Approval Cards that I could find on their site anymore As of November when I looked they were still listed under Approval Cards ... Is this RIP or MIA ?
First of all I did check Wizard after I saw this post and if you look more closely it says "Product is out of stock".. Just like every other stamp supply dealer. I was able to get 40 (3x5)cards from Brooklyn Gallery Coins and Stamps in New York a few weeks ago - that is all they had left. Those 3 line cards I use for shipping stamps I sell here and elsewhere. I have not found a good substitute when sending more than 1 or a couple of stamps. Awhile back I was able to buy a large stash here from Carol (webpaper). I have blown thru those quicker than I thought I would. I guess that is a good thing since I am selling ! However, now I am on the hunt again for more cards even if they are gently used. If anyone finds some let me know...Still looking for alternative suggestions on how to ship let's say an order of 100 stamps for example in a small envelope. Thanks, Steve
The local stamp dealer used to sell them used for 10 cents each, but they are no longer in business.
I still have some which came with purchases. For me their great use will be when I need to sort through lots of stamps that look the same, like some of the newer US stamps.
10 cents sounds like long ago to me, I was happy paying 25 cents per page, now I build my own and end up paying about 10 cents a page for the materials, I don't count the labor because like making album pages, it is part of the hobby.
Just an update - Subway has taken down all of their listings in the store for manilla stock and approval cards. No longer a famine - just another casualty of 2020. Since they manufactured the product and have taken down the listings that means they are now part of history. I have a package of 10 of the 3 line cards left. I guess I will just save them they could become an antique. I wll continue to look on Ebay to see if anyone ever posts any for sale - even if they are gently used ones. Nothing I have found really is good when you are tring to send off 100+ stamps in a small envelope. I have good solutions now for a few stamps but nothing is as good as the old cards for larger orders. Steve
The last price FvH Stamps in Vancouver, BC had for 8-1/2"x 11" 3 ring - 12 or 4 pocket manilla stock sheets was 100/$99.95 CDN + applicable taxes. Frank has noted on his website that these are currently unavailable from Manufacturer.
I guess I'm lucky. I have a couple hundred of these that I've been using as stock sheets over the years. I've also been known to cut these into 3 sections to fit inside a regular #10 envelope.
They do, however, have an alternative selection card available;
BLACK SELECTION CARDS:
Lighthouse 2 or 3 Clear Pockets on Cardboard with Clear Flap. Standard 5 5/8" X 3 5/16" Size:per 10 ………………………………………………………………………………………………………$ 1.95
per 100. …………………………………… $13.56
per 1000. ………………………………$118.65
I quite often use these black selection cards with clear flaps when mailing stamps.
