I found this today in some kiloware. I do not have a recent catalogue and stampworld.com is no help.
Does anybody know the source of this block of used stamps with a specimen overprint on one stamp and an OS perfin on one stamp.

re: 2014 Specimen Overprint and Perfin.
Hi Brechinite
The stamps are from a commemorative pack to celebrate 100 years of stamps during the reign of King George V sideface series. The stamps are still legal tender today, with the exception of the puncture O.S. (Official Service), and the "SPECIMEN" overprint, both cannot be used for postage.
This is what makes that used block of 6 unusual.

When the anniversary of the 100th year of those stamps happened, there was the Philatelic Exhibition in Melbourne, and I remember the Post Office selling CTO copies of those stamps at the Exhibition.
Hi Horamakhet,
I think you are confusing this George V set (issued in 2014), with the Kangaroo & Map Specimen sheetlet issued in 2013 at the World Stamp Expo in Melbourne. The Kangaroo sheetlet of 10 stamps had 3 OS perfins of differing sizes, one printed OS and two Specimen overprints and 4 plain Kangaroos.

re: 2014 Specimen Overprint and Perfin.
The block of 6 illustrated on the last page of the folder of 50 stamps shows Brechinite's stamps. The first top 3 on the left and the first bottom 3 on the left.
They can only come from this commemorative folder of 50 stamps.
