Hi everyone!
I have this stamp from Transvaal in my collection and I wonder about the "1 in triangle". Any ideas..?

Hi Tobbe,

Triangular postmarks were used throughout the British empire to cancel mailed printed matter such as newsletters, catalogs, newspapers, pamphlets or religious tracts. Printed matter usually was sent at a cheaper rate than regular mail.
