General Philatelic/Identify This? : Argentina 1911 and 1912 - Can't find in Scotts

Any ideas on what these are and reasonable listing price if/when I put these into Auction?

I'm presuming they are some type of revenue stamp.

Dave,

I think you are correct - these appear to be revenues;

the center of the stamp reads, "Ley de Sellos"

which means 'Law of the Seal' - a reference to the Stamp Act of 1765, I believe.

Specifically, taxation.


Unfortunately, I am not familiar as yet with these,

but I'm still searchin'!
