It was sent by the UN Postal Administration as a special gift to new issue standing order account subscribers as part of its anniversary celebration. I got one back in the day. I believe there were only 50,000 printed. It has no franking value.

I looked further, after your responses, and found that the MNH version is being sold on eBay for $3.00-$5.00 asked; and on HipStamp at an average $3.25 asked. I guess "the MV is, what the MV is..."

I had one of these and managed to sell it, but it took me quite some time and I did not really get a high price for it. Like all UN, I suppose: not really in demand at the moment.

I am very sorry for bringing bad news. well, perhaps you have more luck than me. At least I have not had much success selling UN. Even those items that are supposedly rare and valuable stay where they are...

Thanks for the "semi-encouraging" words J-S. I'll start putting up the UN stuff later today, and we'll see how it goes.
As always, I will set the prices at a low level for SOR members. Whatever doesn't move will be offered on eBay at the same price, and I'll see what happens.
Another experiment that I'll share with everyone, for what it's worth.
