The approval book in question has been inactivated, for various selling rules violations, not related to pricing.
A note about pricing is that we do not police pricing. We let the SOR marketplace determine whether an asking price is appropriate. If an item doesn't sell, that is the marketplace speaking. The automatic approval book closure routine also will close such approval books, unless of course someone really wanted to buy it.
Good afternoon friends, the publication they refer to is mine, I placed it that way because due to the high shipping costs from Venezuela abroad, selling individual stamps would be too expensive. My collection consists of more than 105 thousand stamps, to which I calculate a price of $ 0.18, value well below the price taking into account that 50% are new stamps. I even have commemorative books, letters, fdc, blocks, etc. If you can advise me to publish my collection I would greatly appreciate it, since it is illogical to publish stamps for a value of $ 2.00 (for example the C9a Scott of Monaco whose catalog value is $ 37,500.00 and I send you the image) and place the shipping price at $ 25.00 which is the cheapest. Thank you.
On the other hand, my paypal account has been restricted due to the fact that since last year I did not register operations, and now I have made payments 5 weeks in a row, I sent all the documentation to paypal and I have 3 weeks waiting for the paypal response. I need you to please advise me, since I want to sell my collection and I know it is difficult. As a sample I send you another stamp from France with an error in the printing for lack of red color, also within the collection. Thank you.
You can list for sale anything that meets the requirements under the rules, and the listings each follow the rules.
Realistically, listing expensive items for sale for pennies makes the entire offering look suspect. Items like the Monaco stamp mentioned need to have a certificate of authenticity.
That said, realistically, I don't know of anyone on Stamporama who has tens of thousands of dollars to pay at one shot for stamps. When selling, one must consider the venue and the potential customer base. Yes, tens of thousands of stamps have been sold on Stamporama. Very rarely, if at all, are stamps of the value purported in the offerings stated here ever sold on this site.
Genuine, extremely rare stamps are best sold through auction houses. Unfortunately, the stamps being in a country that is currently full of strive makes the situation worse, but it doesn't change the fact that Stamporama, and most other online sites are not the place to try to sell such items.
I'm not saying that you cannot try to sell your highly expensive stamps on this site as long as you follow the rules. I'm saying that you are probably wasting your time trying to do so.
A good example comes to mind. I was at a recycling depot the other day, turning in my empty cans and bottles. A guy walks in with a bag over his shoulder and starts asking everyone around if they would buy some meat from him. Needless to say there were no takers. Had he been at a Farmer's Market with the goods nicely arranged, he would mostly likely have sold them.
My course of action would be to break down the large collection and sell it in parts. Cheaper items can be sold here; the more expensive ones at auction sites so they get more exposure.
It will take time to do so, but this is the only way to successful sales.
Yes, as a frequent stamp buyer, I would never consider a purchase more than about $200 without directly examining the offering, and obtaining expert opinion, if indicated.
Personally, I get pretty picky when a contemplated purchase approaches $50.
Good morning friends, thank you very much for your advice, all very valuable.
I will take into account to create books with stamps and sell them by unit. The most expensive stamps would leave for when you can solve the problem in paypal and publish it on ebay, in terms of certificates of authenticity, according to information from Ipostel, post company here, in Venezuela there is no qualified person to certify stamps or here and less of the world. The truth is that I have looked for someone here and I have not been able to get anyone.
As I said, I'm going to make selections and I'll issue stamps from $ 0.01, now I ask them, how would the buyers do to pay a shipment of $ 25.00, being able to consolidate shipments?

Good morning friends, my problem is not with ebay but with paypal.
I think many of you shared with Dropbox the stamps that are part of my collection. My only interest in selling the collection is to leave Venezuela because of the critical situation that we are living or rather surviving, it hurts me because many times I helped my grandfather with this collection, and I know that many people resent what I am doing but I really do not have another.
Daniela, I certainly empathize with your situation. I worked with a nice lady who was from Venezuela. She often talked about the problems there and the decline of Venezuelan society. She is married to a US citizen and has a family here. Several years ago, she quit her job and returned to Venezuela to try to bring her mother here. She was not been able to leave Venezuela for reasons I don't know as I have since lost contact with her.
I figured that was the reason why you want to sell the collection, but it will be hard to sell such a collection like that in one piece on most sites.
I wish you and your countrymen all the luck possible for change for the better. Unfortunately, and maybe to the betterment of others, your country is a prime example of why some forms of government work great for those in charge, but cause nothing but harm for the general population.
Thank you very much for your support and your words. Honestly, I'm ashamed to call myself BolĂvar's daughter, he would be fighting to get those drug dealers out of the government and we (generally speaking) are already crossing our arms. It is not easy to see children, young people and the elderly die because they do not have food or medicine and here people do nothing. They destroyed the country and the worst is destroying and stealing natural resources. I have confidence in God that this is to make us see that we are strong and capable of leaving this and many more, but here we are surviving and nobody in the world does anything. We do not go out to protest because they take out the tanks and their thugs to kill the population. Excuse me but I needed to vent a little.
