I have a Scott Specialised, but, in a nutshell, is there anything specific I should look for? Is it worth my while?

I would look for perfins and precancels. Those can add a little to a lot of interest and value.

if all your prexies are cancelled, and you're talking about CV, there's little there.
on the other hand, perfins as Antonio suggests, precancels, SONs, etc., could tickle your fancy for years.
Pity they're not still on cover, as there are many prexy collectors looking for the oddball rates paid by prexies.

Thanks everyone. There's plenty of pairs and the like, but no precancels. I didn't check for perfins, so I'll re-check.
They're very attractive stamps despite the lack of value. I imagine a mint collection would look stunning on a page

Awesome!
Excellent, excellent info on Don's website regarding these!
Thanks Chris, for mentioning it here and thank you Don for your excellent contributions to Philately in general.
