re: Inkjet printer - Heaviest Paper Stock?
I agree, every printer has its own specs and this needs to be understood before stuffing a new paper into a printer.
In many parts of the world paper thickness is measured with gsm (grams per square inch or g/m2). In the US the thickness is measured in 'weight' including several different methods like bond weight, text weight, cover weight, index weight. It is pretty confusing. Here is a helpful chart
All the printers I have owned could handle 65/67 LB cover. It is one of the most popular paper stocks so easy to purchase.
I use Domtar 28/70 for my pages. It is a balance of stiffness and thickness. The thicker the stock you get fewer pages per album and costs more per page.
