Hi ! I’m so happy to have found this online club My name is Indíana and I’m 26 years old I don’t know any other collectors, not like we are that many on the island... I started collecting a few years ago. Then my collection got stolen. I gave up collecting for a while but I love it to much and decided to start again and already have quite a collection I am looking for someone to swap with and can offer Icelandic used stamps. I’m currently keeping it topical with collections like northern and southern lights, 50’s style themes, embossed and special feature stamps (bamboo, wool and such) also special shaped stamps, then UK and Jersey are few of my favorite countries to collect from.
I hope I can make some collector friends or at least some trades here ??
Very nice to meet you and welcome from Michigan in the USA.
I am EXTREMELY new to stamp collecting myself, and will look through my stamps for anything that may interest you. If I find something I will be happy to send it to you.
I certainly have lots of US stamps if you need some, let me know and I can ship you some packets.
Welcome from North Dakota. I collect Scandinavian stamps including Iceland. My Iceland collection is getting fairly complete except for the items I will never be able to afford. When my brother was in the Navy, he was stationed at Keflavik.
As you may know the U.S. has quite a few 1950s nostalgia type stamps. If your 1950s collection extends beyond Iceland, the UK, and Jersey then let us know as many of us would be glad to send you some of the U.S. ones to brighten your collection.
I am pleased that in spite of the theft of your collection in the past that you still want to continue on. I hope you can build your collection up again through trades etc.

re: New member - Hello from Iceland !
Welcome. My Dad's family is from Iceland. They were part of the group that established the Icelandic community in North Dakota, US and then settled in the town of Winnipegosis, Manitoba in Canada.

Welcome, Indiana, to Stamporama! We have members from all over the place here. I collect Icelandic stamps, and really enjoy learning more about your country through them.
