Monaco has always been one of my favorite countries to collect. In part, I suppose, when collecting as a kid there were so many colorful stamps to be had at a reasonable price. As time has passed the first issues became my favorite. Today, I received a mint copy of the 25 cent stamp of the 1885 first set. This only leaves me with 3 more mint stamps to complete in mint. The 1891-1921 second set, I also find very attractive and I only need a few more to complete all values in mint. Even though they get quite expensive I find them much more attractive in mint as opposed to used. Today I also extended the end date for Monaco by another 4 years which I will be scanning and adding to my site in the next few days.
Here are scans of the first two sets. The size is of course limited to the size the board allows. They can better be viewed by going to my Monaco collection at this URL:

Monaco is a beautiful country and has some beautiful stamps. In fact, I was just there last week and took this photo! Cool

Thanks, but with only one day in Monaco, I fear my wife would have thrown me into the water if I had suggested spending time trying to find a stamp dealer Sad

re: A couple of my favorite sets.

Your wife saved you a bundle. Monaco stamps sold in Monaco's stamp shops will cost you a lot more than if you bought them anywhere else in France. And Monaco is quite widely collected, so you may find good bargains at the weekly stamp fairs and trading locations in most big cities. For example, https://en.parisinfo.com/shopping-paris/73776/Marche-aux-timbres
rrr... finally back in town

re: A couple of my favorite sets.

Yesterday I completed one of the most beautiful sets from Liechtenstein by adding the four stamps shown below to the page shown below them. Besides those four stamps I also added the single stamp shown below, Scott No. 171. These five stamps constitute half of the ten stamps I needed to complete the regular issues of Liechtenstein thru my end date of 1990. My Semi postals, air mail and postage dues are also complete but I need 5 officials to complete the B.O.B.
Of course I'll still be looking to replace the few 1930 used stamps with mint ones.
