Stampme 23 Mar 2018 06:03:29pm | Hello All,
Does anyone know how many cities used the WWI slogan: Food Will Win The War Don't Waste It?
Here is an example from San Francisco:
I have seen this slogan cancel from Boston and New York City. Anywhere else?
Thanks,
Bruce

You can grind your way through a scanned copy of United States Postal Slogan Cancels, by Moe Luff (1950), here.
You can (join and) borrow one from the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library here.
You can order an inexpensive Print-on-Demand reprint here.
Just don't ask me to find it for you
Cheers,

I have had the same question myself about the same slogan cancel. Thanks for sharing that great resource.
A simple search turns up the info on page 18.

Thanks for the resource links.
Indeed, the slogan cancel info I was curious about is found on page 18:
Food Will Win The War Don't Waste It
Austin, Texas
Boston, Massachusetts
Chicago, Illinois
Portland, Oregon
San Francisco, California
Washington D.C.
With an alternate slogan: Food Will The War Save It: Food
Smith's Ferry, Idaho
Thanks again!

Decided to follow my own good advice, and ordered a copy of the reprint.
