I have come across a number of items similar to these. Values range from 6p to 1£. I thought once I heard that these were Revenue stamps. They each seem to bear the cypher of George III on the back. Some are affixed to 50mm x 50mm pieces of heavy vellum. Any idea of where I can find more information? Thanks.

Excellent! Now I know what I have and much more about the use.

Thanks for the information. Now to begin to make up pages for them. Maybe even an exhibit for the local club.
