Auctions | re: Valuation of FDC's from Estonia, latvia and Lithuania
John,
the value of most FDCs is in their cachet. At least that's true in the US for US FDCs.
I haven't seen a robust market in the US for foreign FDCs of any country, although some topicals pull.
I think you should expect a substantial fall off from purchase price to after market realization. In my limited experience with foreign FDCs (and I'm neither a foreign collector nor an FDC collector), I find that, if they sell at all, i might get 20% to 50% of the CV of the 'used' stamps.
I can't imagine that's what you want to hear.
David

Auctions - Approvals | re: Valuation of FDC's from Estonia, latvia and Lithuania
I was given 15 to 20 early Covers from Lithuania. I have put several on Ebay starting at about $20. ea. They all have sold in the $8. to $10. range. Interestingly enough, they have all been purchased by collectors in Lithuania. Hope this helps.
