Dutchess County had Veterans appreciation day at the Roosevelt compound. If you showed a copy of your DD214 you got a free admission to the Museum and Library..so off we went. I did not see any stamps ! After seeing everything i think i gained a deeper appreciation for Elanor and her humanitarian projects than for F.D.R. She tried to do something for the interned Japanese Americans but F.D.R. rebuffed her.

nice

Eleanore was a true humanitarian; FDR a gifted politician who also had the welfare of the people at heart, so long as it didn't get in the way.

When we were there last year, we took a tour of the house. The tour guide points out FDR's stamp corner in the living room, but again no stamps.

David,

FDR's stamps were sold in a mammoth auction. https://www.apfelbauminc.com/fdr-stamp-collection
