Have just got my copy and looking at page 415, Postage Dues, the right hand of the two columns is blank but at the base of the left hand column are images labelled D5 and D6.
Could anyone who has a copy confirm that this is consistent?
I'm thinking it is a printing error as the 2014 Concise includes the 1982 and 1994 issues on page 370.
Does anyone know if Gibbons have issued a correction?
Edit. Have emailed SG asking if it is a printing/proof error and if they are issuing a correction page or download. Hopefully I will get an answer.

re: SG Concise 2017 Query
In the postage due section there a six designs illustrated and identified as D1, D2, .....D6.
There are 12 1982 issues #s 9o through #101 and #90 to #94 are the D5s while the #95 - #101 are D6s. That is from my dated 2011 copy.
If there are two columns it s possible that more issues were later used. On the other hand recently SG has underwhelmed even jaded collectors, especially those who specialize in UK stamps and the columns should be marked "M" and "U".
I bet you don't get a worthwhile response.

re: SG Concise 2017 Query
I can confirm that there appears to be a printing error in that the right hand column in my 2017 edition is blank, D90 to D101 (1982) and D102 to D110 (1994) are missing.
Update, email today from SG, it is a printers error and they sent me a pdf for the missing page.
If anyone wants a copy please send me an email and I'll copy the file for you.

I think that to be fair to SG, the number of todays new issues and other changes worldwide, tend to overwhelm them somewhat. I think that the catalogue editor does an excellent job, bearing in mind the number of balls he has to keep in the air at the same time. They do not try to compete with Deegam, and other highly specialist catalogues ( and admit such), and I find that their Specialised series of catalogue strike just the right balance between simplified listings and the "monograph". In any case the "Concise" is by no means as specialised as the "proper" GB catalogues, and producing an updated version every year must put extreme pressure on production process.
I also wonder just how much correspondence they receive fron collectors and dealers with new (not always correct ?) information and corrections and how they find time to deal with it all ( or perhaps they can't ?)

re: SG Concise 2017 Query
I think my jaded view comes from the general disappointment
with the long awaited issuance of the GB Specialized Volume Four,
a few years ago. First, they returned to a bound version from the more useful looseleaf version and then there was a list of corrections and omissions
that we created at the Machin Forum Index. Hope springs eternal in the human breast.
