re: This walked in the door and I fell out of my chair getting to my wallet.
Two amazing things came out of this post:
1) This morning as I started again looking through some stamps (after a long summer sojourn) I found an envelope marked Middle East. After searching through Scotts and the StampWorld site I identified all but three, one of which was this very same stamp (albeit a normal inexpensive one, not a high-value fault). I was literally just about to scan the stamps and submit to our "What The Heck Is This?" Discussion when I read your message. Thanks for clearing that up BCW!!
2) I was also intrigued by your title, and didn't "get it", so I Googled "Cahir". Turns out it is a town in Ireland, in County Tipperary. It is well known for the drinking habits of nearby residents who often, when reaching for their wallets, will fall off their stools. Hence the origination of the term "Tipsy" from the general locale. I was happy that The Moderator didn't catch and correct it earlier, so thanks also for your "Dang Glasses" BCW - and my morning chuckle.
