Evening,

Lee here. While at the stamp club tonight, Sacramento Philatelic Society-this walked in the door.

When I seen it I smiled. The way the miss registry looks like a shadow the red letters are over the place and what's the value?

I say a true error-

Hope you like it as much as I do Image Not Found

re: This walked in the door and I fell out of my chair getting to my wallet.

Two amazing things came out of this post:

1) This morning as I started again looking through some stamps (after a long summer sojourn) I found an envelope marked Middle East. After searching through Scotts and the StampWorld site I identified all but three, one of which was this very same stamp (albeit a normal inexpensive one, not a high-value fault). I was literally just about to scan the stamps and submit to our "What The Heck Is This?" Discussion when I read your message. Thanks for clearing that up BCW!!

2) I was also intrigued by your title, and didn't "get it", so I Googled "Cahir". Turns out it is a town in Ireland, in County Tipperary. It is well known for the drinking habits of nearby residents who often, when reaching for their wallets, will fall off their stools. Hence the origination of the term "Tipsy" from the general locale. I was happy that The Moderator didn't catch and correct it earlier, so thanks also for your "Dang Glasses" BCW - and my morning chuckle.

Cheers (and slow on tonight's beers).

Dave.

You guys make me laugh-who would of thunk?? A mis spelled would actually--how cool.

1. I don't drive well at night driving anymore.
2. My glasses are so scratched, getting new ones here real quick, btw-
3. I got home, ran to the scanner and went to work. I went to typing and just happy as heck to get the stamp out there to the masses that I never slowed down to prof read my OWN POST!!!!! DAH!! I really like this one, it's a keeper--

Just a simple case of the Dumb @#$%, I'll tighten up--

BTW-I have many articles coming out on Iran Stamps here pretty quick. Would love to hear feed back on them-Should be posting this weekend I was told--

Thanks for the input--
