Looked through the 2018 Scotts, StampWorld online catalogue, and old-fashioned Googling...all to no avail.
Even tried countries that might look like this (obviously?) Japanese stamp. Again, no luck (but I did identify some Manchukuos that I had in my China "to sort" envelope!)
Anyone with some insight on what this is, and Scott number (preferably)?

re: This Japan stamp has me stumped...GOT ALL THE ANSWERS NOW!
One usual difference between Japanese revenues vs definitives are that the revenues are usually quite a bit larger than the common postage stamps. If you can't find it in the catalog and it is larger than regular than it is most probably a revenue.
Scott does not list Japanese revenues so there is no Scott number for this stamp.

Thanks for the info Mitch and the link Mack.
Anyone know if there is a Specialty Catalog that would show these? I think I have a handful of similar stamps in different denominations I'd like to look up, if so.

I have a Japanese Revenue Stamp Catalog. I'd have to dig it out, but it is handy at times.
