The question revolves around a listing in the Scott catalog for Bermuda. Scott #148 & 149 (3p) as well as 156 & 157 (1sh3p) all have the word "Sandys" after them. What does "Sandys" mean and how do I differentiate the 1st one of each denomination from the 1957 printing? Thanks for your help! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

From memory, without referring to my copy, I believe it is the name of the bay written on the stamp. Two different spellings.

148 and 156 is spelled Sandy's with apostrophe, 149 and 157 is Sandys without the apostrophe.
