My subject line pretty much asks how I need to search for an approval book to show the stamps that were listed so I can match up with list. Mainly the high dollar stamps.

I would imagine that if the book has been deleted/made inactive then you will need to contact the seller. If they are like me they will still have images on file and could email you a copy.
If it is still a current book then the images will be on site.

If the book was deleted, then it's gone. However, if it is inactive, then it can still be viewed, but one cannot make further purchases from it.
To find the books, go to the approval section, do a search for the seller's name, and then select the book you need to view (provided it wasn't deleted, from the list of the seller's books. (I added this, because you didn't state where your difficulty was trying to find an approval book.)

In addition to the above, you can use the "search" option in the Approvals section and if you know the number of the book, for instance 9106, you can first select the option Book# from the dropdown and then enter 9106.
If the seller has retired the book, this will not work, but you can still view the items you bought through the menu options "Buyers" - "View won lots"
One can go back up to 120 days from the purchase date.
