A Service Dog gives a person with a disability independence. Never approach, distract or pet a working dog, especially when (s)he is in harness. Never be afraid to ask questions to the handler (parent).

Most people think it's rather ironic that I'm Legally Blind but my hobby is stamp collecting.

Being blind'ish actually comes in handy a lot when working on stamps. When I find stamps that are listed as engraved as well as engraved and litho, or issued as one set as engraved and another as litho, I can "read" my stamps very easily and quickly identify the different sets.

I only have sensation in my left index fingertip in one small place but it sure comes in handy for reading and identifying stamps! Happy
