It is a Christmas stamp issued in 1977. It is also Scott #1225. Although, I'm not sure that's the door.
Just guessin'.

Your title said it was a coincidence, I kinda thought the wavy lines in the cancel looked a little like a meandering path leading up to the building in the background.
...and I still say I'm as sober as the morning dew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I collect Christmas stamps and appreciate you posting it, because to be honest, I very likely wouldn't have recognized it as one. Now I know.
I wonder now if he's making some sort of a Christmas decoration, maybe a wreath?

"I wonder now if he's making"
According to the caption in Scott, they are putting up a sheaf for the birds.
A sheaf is a bundle of grain, so it's a bird feeder. You know, I could've used a little of that in your OP?
But wait, what's a bird feeder?

The child may be holding additional bristles. Or, maybe a huge torch.

""The A. Almqvist family erecting sheaf for birds.""
So this is Almqvist, by Holmqvist, putting up a sheaf of twigs (sort of), and qvist means twig. Login to Like this post
