I would like to find photo copies of the first pages of the Michel listings of QV 1d and 2d of Great Britain.can anyone help? just need for the catalogue numbering system not value

Scott numbers are 1-4 which does not show all the different printings, SG 1-41
basically it is all the QV GB 1d blacks,2d blues and 1d reds.all imperf.
Michel uses a lettering system as 1a 1b 1c 1d and so on need to know what they mean.

The "normal" Michel Western Europe does not give that much additional information. It only lists colour varieties:
1a deep black
1b black
1c grey black (worn plate)
2a dark blue
2b blue
2c pale (ultramarine) blue
4a blue
4b dark blue
4c pale blue
4yb blue on thick lavenderblue paper

I assume that the specialized catalogue has more detailed information. I have not been able to get my hands on one of these. A bit expensive at €89... but on the up-side, it has 1008 pages, approx. 6.300 colour illustrations and approx. 54.000 price quotations!
