Europe/Germany : Bavaria Official O50 Type (Overprint Shown) - Known Color Variation ?

All of the copies I have (about 6) are clearly "vermillion" as described in Scott's (and shown on the left).

But the one on the right is very different - more of a "lighter carmine" when compared to my other Bavaria stamps from the same era (and taken from the same album page).

As usual, the scan doesn't do it justice, but the difference is quite striking.

Thoughts?

It would be Bavaria Scott #O58.

Michel does show two colors for the non-overprinted stamp (orange red and middle red), but there is no difference in values. For the overprinted stamp, Michel only lists one color (orange red).

Thanks Michael. Pretty sure it's got to be the two colors you noted but will look for non-overprints to confirm.
