My name is Arron.I'm from Ireland.I'm new to Stamporama.I've been collecting stamps sporadically since childhood, but recently I've been bitten by the bug.I collect worldwide stamps,I have a large general collection, and also a large Russian/Soviet collection.I joined Stamporama to learn more about stamps, meet other collectors and hopefully do some trading.Don't be shy, I'd love to hear about other members collections.
Greetings,
from Florida here.
I collect Australia up to 1965, Great Britain up to 1965, and USA up to 1965. Lots of good information at SOR, and people will be glad to answer your questions.
Stamps from Ireland have always struck me as having a very unique look. Maybe its the harps.
(I like Dostoyevsky as well. And Tolstoy, Checkov, etc.)
Hey Winedrinker, personally I find Irish stamps in general very plain, except for the commemoratives. It's probably just because I'm used to them,I'm sure a lot of people feel the same about the stamps of their own country. I love Dostoyevsky, I haven't read any Tolstoy or Checkov yet, but I have some of their books in my collection.

Welcome to Stamporama. I have collected stamps for over 40 years. I have 9 albums full of stamps. Trading with people from all over the world has been great fun. I have a large collection of Silver Jubilee, St. Vincent, and Tuvalu. Recently I have really enjoyed stampora's discussion board. I hope you make many new friends here.
