I wanted to share this find. Nordfrim is selling Lighthouse albums, hinge less, complete with binders and cases at unreal prices. Not sure if this is a temporary loss leader or what but do the math. I bought the 3 volume Sweden album for $440. Best price I could find from a US discount dealer is over $1000 for what I got. Shipping is fast and free.
Shipping is fast and free provided a certain dollar amount is purchased.
It works the same with cycling stuff, and I suspect a lot more. Items can be found for a significantly less outlie of money from large overseas on line sellers than we are gouged for here in the US.
I recently made a purchase from Lighthouse USA. Probably never again as things were nearly twice as expensive...and stock level was pathetic; as well Lighthouse USA doesn't tell you when they don't have an item. Instead you get a packing slip that says please call us if you wish to cancel this item---and with a generic statement that it could take 8 to 12 weeks for them to get the item.
I just purchased an Carson zPix 300 Model MM-940 Digital Microscope, great piece of gear .I had to send to the USA to get it at a decent price.post free as well.

Nordfrim also has a Dutch branch and they sell the Leuchtturm / Lighthouse albums for Sweden for 350 euros. It seems that the complete albums are currently out of print, as Leuchtturm does not offer them themselves and perhaps Nordfrim bought up some remainders which they are now reselling. Normal prices for Lighthouse albums are much higher.
I bought a complete Sweden album from them, saved over $700 from what I'd pay elsewhere. I suspect they did indeed buy a remainder stock of these. This isn't a main collecting area for me but I couldn't resist a buy like that. Possibly I could sell it on Ebay later if I lose interest and not lose anything.
