I found this one in the flea market lot, not sure what to think about it and would appreciate a little help. The off color seems to follow the design.

Hi whitebuffalo:

Yes it is damaged, sun faded. Sad

The upper left darker area was made because another stamp was positioned there, thus the upper left corner is actually a shadow complete with perforations, that shielded the stamp you have.

Michael##### was correct, that red stamps tend to fade much easier than other colors.

indeed flea markets are fun.... Big Grin

Oh well, the fall from minimal value to no value was a short one.

Hey, don't be so pessimistic WB.

Put it on eBay, using the following !!! RARE !!! NOT LISTED IN SCOTT'S !!! in your header, and set an opening bid of $9,412.99, but with free shipping.

Then forward me a copy of all the messages you get from potential buyers and my 10% agent's fee (5% if it doesn't sell).

Always happy to help a brother out!

Well heck man, let me return the favor Dave and I'll just sell it to you for 10% of that price and you can keep whatever profits you make from selling it on Ebay.

That's how good of an ol' boy I am!
