Nigel. You got me laughing, reminding me of a funny song by Flight of the Conchords: "Hiphopopotumus vs Rhymenoceros". I'm leery of posting a link, but I'm sure it's somewhere on YouTube.
I feel like a friend has gone away forever. I know a lot has happened and the end was inevitable, but it's still a little sad. Remember guys, that was my first dealings with learning all about stamps and I met so many super people there. It's bitter sweet.
Okay, time to finish that bridge to get over it and be happy with new beginnings.
You guys are the best! Thanks.

"Appreciate the beauty of nature. You never know when life will deal you an unplanned twist of fate. Enjoy things while you can, because you just never know."
It was a good venue until SG came along. HipStamp has potential just as BidStart/StampWants did. I can't imagine the HipStamp forums ever matching what we had at BidStart though. That was an incredible learning experience for me. It was an amazing community—until its demise. I was lucky to have been a part of that and lucky to have found SoR more recently. Communities like this don't show up every day.

"I no longer collect, but will never abandon the hobby"
I am going to miss StampWants/Bidstart. I hope Mark has success with HipStamp like he did with StampWants. I know I will miss the listing system on Bidstart. Much quicker and less cumbersome than HipStamp's listing process.
Dakota: Don't quote me on this, but I have read somewhere (can't remember where, or else I would link it here), that they will be coming up with a one-page listing page sometime in the next several weeks.
I think they're busy working trying to get all the pertinent data off of BidStart and then shut down the BS server(s). Once they get the most critical stuff done, then I think they'll be building some of the helpful tools that BidStart had.
Again, don't quote me on this, but fingers crossed ...

"You gotta put down the duckie if you wanna play the saxophone. (Hoots the Owl -- Sesame Street)"
Thanks Dave. I'm sure they are quite busy with the migration. I have a phone session with them this afternoon when I will ask them about this. I would also like to see a Bulk Change method like Bidstart had.
