Hi Everyone,
Are any of you using the new Edge browser that comes with Windows 10? Just wondering what your experience has been with using the Edge browser with Stamporama?
re: Is anyone using the new Edge web browser from Microsoft?
10 out of 10. Stamporama has always been fast on any browser that I use.
Sadly, many other websites are no-go areas at the moment, but it could be a problem with my laptop.
re: Is anyone using the new Edge web browser from Microsoft?
I have used Edge the last couple of months (since my computer technician upgraded me to Windows 10 without my permission). I hate Edge and Windows 10 with a passion but I have no problems with Edge when accessing Stamporama.
re: Is anyone using the new Edge web browser from Microsoft?
My son bought a new laptop with Win 10 and it had Edge as the default browser. It doesn't support plug-ins, including Java, so it's pretty much worthless.
Edit: The browser, not the laptop, is worthless

re: Is anyone using the new Edge web browser from Microsoft?
Since I upgraded to Windows 10 I have not been very happy with it. I used Edge for several months, and it was the source of much of my unhappiness. It seemed to be slower than I had ever experienced with a browser, and the "back" function often refused to comply, meaning to get out of a website I often had to shut down Edge, wait a few moments and reopen. I had fewer problems navigating StampoRama's website than some other frequently visited sites. I recently got a tip that Internet Explorer is hidden within the applications included in Windows 10. I located it and chose it as my default browser, which was challenging to accomplish (though my computer knowledge is limited), and my browsing experience has been better than with Edge in all respects.

Why don't you just install Chrome or Firefox if you all hate Edge with a passion?
I use both and combined with addons like Adblock and LastPass it works like a dream. Of course I resisted all pleas from Micro$oft to upgrade to Windows 10. Perfectly happy with 7. I have heard very mixed opinions about 10 though. Many seem to like it, apart from the quirky user interface with the stupid blocks, others think it's awful...
re: Is anyone using the new Edge web browser from Microsoft?
After I upgraded to Win10, I had problems accessing web pages with Edge, Firefox, and Chrome. Having previously used the Slim browser, I downloaded SlimJet for Win10, and I am completely satisfied with it, and use it to the exclusion of all others.

First thing I did after reinstalling Windows 10 on my new computer to get rid of all the extra and unwanted programs that come with a new computer (McCaffee Antivirus and such).

I have Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome on my computer and have Windows 10.
I use Edge for e-mail and on-line purchases, i.e. stamps.
I use Chrome for browsing the web. Chrome does not allow me to access e-mail or Postcrossing while Edge does.
I have no problem accessing Stamporama with Edge - haven't tried it with Chrome - now I will.

That is exactly what I did, but keep in mind that I didn't post an unprovoked rant about Edge. I was responding to a specific inquiry regarding anyone who had experience with same.
