Image Not FoundGot a 2014 Michel specialized cat.today and beginning to think the prices shown are rather high !!The stamps on the cover below individually would be € 1570.00.I don't believe this at all.I have a lot of covers and FDC's from Austria which apparently are of considerable value.Anybody has any idea of the real value of items like the above?

I think you may have quoted the CV for the imperforate issue. In my Michel 2013 the first seven values have a CV of € 1,500 and the last value a CV of € 4,000. The set as shown is perforated and has a CV of € 10 in the Michel 2013 and $ 3 in the Scott 2009.

re: Michel catalogue prices(Austria)+a BIG envelope

The European convention for pricing multiple stamps on covers is as follows -

Take the highest "stamp on cover" price and add the other stamps used off-cover prices to arrive at the total.

Of course this does not take account of any other aspects such as rare postmark, unusual usage, instructional markings etc.

It is very much a "How long is a piece of string? " calculation.

As always the real value is what a knowledgeable buyer is willing to pay an equally savey seller, neither acting under any economic duress.
