Just joined Stamporama and currently enjoying finding my way around!
Began collecting as an eight year old (thanks Mum!) but recently retired and thoroughly enjoying having plenty of time in developing or extending my collections.
Started out with Australian and Great Britain collections but over the last fifteen years or so collections have multiplied and now include much of Europe, Asia and South Africa.
How wonderful it is to be able to escape Into our hobby of stamp collecting after the busyness of the working world!
Looking forward to making new philatelic friends at Stamporama.

Hello Nick,

Welcome to Stamporama from Cowtown (Fort Worth, Texas). You will find Stamporama a friendly place where your questions will be answered if you have any. Also, there are a lot of good buys in the Auction and Approval Books.

Welcome again.

Jim

Greetings,

Recently retired myself, and living in the swamps of Florida, U.S. I collect Australia and Great Britain for the most part. But have started purchasing 19th century U.S. stamps. Lots of good and friendly discussions here for whatever corner of the world you collect.

Cheers!
Eric

Greetings from Pennsylvania, USA!

It's on my bucket list to spend a month in Australia someday, but life keeps getting in the way of that!

Welcome to SOR Nick, from the civilization area of SW Florida, but still close to the Everglades, River of Grass. Also a collector of most of your areas of interest.

Hello Nick and welcome.

I am in Ontario, Canada, but my favourite stamps are from Australia. Love them.

I know you will enjoy the group.

Have a great day.
