Hi Machinhigh,
I'm surprised by your comments about the 2011 SG GB Concise catalogue.
I use the 2010 edition and it has a separate index for Machins with Y numbers, i.e. decimal Machins with elliptical perforations.
It has only a short listing of Machins with U numbers (Machins with security slits) but that's hardly surprising given its publication date.
I use this catalogue as a general GB reference and I don't collect Machins but if I did I would use the 2016 edition.

This is what I used up to 2005 when it came to a dead stop, then the Deegam Bookmark Catalogue was in my possession in 2 bulky volumes which have served me well all but renumbering all of my machins, I now use the same but from a CD and have done a separate Illustrated list with SG numbers in Word yes all 119 pages quite a undertaking but I'm getting there, all in all the Deegam CD catalogue is a definite must for the serious Machin collector unlike SG the Numbering stays constant for each value/stamp this includes variants / phosphor band type ect ect. So my dear friend SG Catalogues for me are expensive for a bunch od pretty pics.
