Not thinking this will be a collection area for me with the possible exception of occupations around WWI and WWII especially which I am finding intriguing from an historical and philatelic perspective.
#1 was in a separate glassine inside an envelope with no notations. #2 and #3 were in a glassine with a handful of similar orange stamps on close look being a couple variations of stamps and overprints.

The other two stamps are from Republic of China/Taiwan.
I think the orange stamp is SG 202 / Scott #1108 from 1955. My only concern is that the surcharge should be green which I don't see in the scan. I guess it's a very dark green.

Thanks for sharing Nigel. Once I knew where to look I recognized where about half a dozen more inscrutable Asian stamps came from (i.e. Manchukuo) and now I know what to look for.
Still have a few more puzzlers to post.
