In Scott 2009 Catalog, I have what appears to be (on left) #2 lilac (A1), but it should have perfs.
There is no mention of imperfs at all.

On the right, I have what appears to be 1891-1921, #11, A2, but again no mention of perfs.
So my question is, does the lack of mention of the perfs suggest that they are imperf?

The catalog says only
1891-1921
11 A2 1c Olive Green

Where the #2 says
1885 Unwmk Typo. Perf. 14x13 1/2
2 A1 1c Olive Green

Thanks for your help

Russ

Hi Russ,

These will be cut-outs from postal stationery.

I don't have a catalogue for these but I have a complete letter card with a printed 25c stamp with the same design as your 1c stamp.

I also have a cut-out from a letter card with a printed 25c stamp and other 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c and 15c cut-outs all with the same design as your 2c stamp.

Ah, OK, that makes sense, I guess it didn't occur to me since they are cut so square

Is there color in them (green and lilac or...)

Thanks nigelc!

Also the wide margins are a bit of a giveaway regarding cutouts.
