Complete set of 50 year old 1966 Navigators used on envelopes (sent to me in the past few weeks as normal postage); I've seen the lower denomination decimal definitives used from the 1960s and 1970s on recent mail, but to see the higher values, especially the complete set of 1966 Navigators is quite unique and mind boggling.

The $4 king used was more than I could afford with my pocket money growing up. I would have been ecstatic to have one mint at face value or sent to me on an envelope/parcel.
Just shows how the value of decimal Australian stamps have depreciated in the last 40 years.

Same with me, and I didn't even know they existed as no-one I knew as a child ever had any of these.
