Found the site, had a look at the site then joined the site within about 20 minutes! Simple really.
This is I think my 5th time returning to stamp collecting! Amazing the developments sice my initial foray; online catalogues, auctions & sites like StampoRama. Some really interesting stuff on here and great to see members willing to share a lifetimes information.
I've managed almost 3 years in my latest guise as Philatelist so looks like the original bug has kicked in again with a vengance. Working on Ireland/Luxemburg/older Germany atm but I can (and do) wander anywhere really.
Marvellous site and I'm really looking forward to going through the discussion boards, approval books et al.
Welcome to SOR, John. It's great to have a member that actually lives in the home of Waterford Crystal. My wife and I enjoyed an enjoyable day there a few years ago, taking the tour and of course couldn't leave without bringing home plenty of crystal. Have fun and enjoy yourself on SOR, there are many knowledgeable members available for advice and/or assistance.

Welcome!
From Florida here, between Cape Canaveral and Mickey Mouse.
Just picked up the Royal Hobby again myself, after several decades foolishly not collecting. I collect Great Britain and Australia, and sometimes things that are shiny.

Waterford Crystal...what about Guiness!
Welcome to Stamporama. Great to have you on board! I don't collect Ireland, but I do have an interest in all the small European countries, and Luxembourg is certainly one of them. Quote:
Luxembourg had a population of 524,853 in October 2012, ranking it the 8th least-populous country in Europe. Wiki
Smaller than the city where I currently live!
Fáilte!
