This shirt was a gift from the stamp club upon my "retirement" as secretary, after more than 15 years of service. I expected a golden parachute, but they claimed I was a volunteer, so no such luck.

I'm sure it was acquired here in the Ft. Myers area at a custom T-shirt shop, You might check your phone book for one in your area. The brand on the tag is Gildan and just from looking in my closet I have 3 others with that tag. One is from Seattle, that shows the US stamp Q1, one from St. Thomas, that reads "I'm retired, don't ask me to do a damn thing", the other is from a Carnival cruise ship, that reads "Winning isn't everything, but it's probably the best thing". There are probably more, but you get the idea, they seem to be available everywhere.

Maybe because I usually have my "old curmudgeon" look on, with the emphasis on "OLD". I certainly don't want anyone to think I'm really a nice guy, now do I? I do have a reputation to exceed.

You inspired me to find my other shirt. It appears that it has shrunk since I received it from our daughter that lives in Seattle, because I do the laundry and my wife informed me I need to quit using salt water to wash our clothes. I told her she had been complaining about the high water bills so I started using canal water for the laundry. By golly that shut her up!!!!

Thanks for the kind words about the latest shirt. I do have a Yankee's cap, but it's from the Civil War era and didn't think that would be apropo with the shirt
