I recently came across this inverted postal card but have no idea of relative scarcity or worth. My 2013 Scott Specialized does not mention anything. Any info appreciated. Thanks, Chris Image Not Found

re: inverted postal card

This particular example of a "miscut" postal card is common and items like it are found in the dollar boxes.

These "miscuts" are a result of someone taking a full sheet (usually 4 x 10 = 40 card sheet) and cutting it up to create "errors".

Some issues, however were not sold in sheets, but rather as single cards. Miscuts from them can be quite valuable.

See a recent article on this subject by Cary Finder in Postal Stationery, the journal of the UPSS.
