In case any newbies are not aware, the Project Gutenberg site has a number of Philately related books for free download.
The website can be found at https://www.gutenberg.org/
Some books are available in French and others in English, a few of the English language ones are as follows.
Peeps at Postage stamps, author, Stanley Johnson (1915)
Canada Its Postage Stamps and Postal Stationery, author, Clifton Howes (1911)
History of the Postage Stamps of the United States of America, author, John Tiffany (1887)
The Postage Stamp in War, author, Frederick Melville (Egypt 1915)
Stamp Collecting as a Pastime, author, Edward Nankivell (1902)
What Philately Teaches, author, John Luff (1899)
Whilst being old they do contain information still relevant in today's world, and being free is a bonus.
They are available as Epub, HTML, Kindle, plain text UTF-8.
Firefox has an Ereader add-on that works well and I think Adobe has a similar feature.
They also have books on a wealth of other subjects.
A Service Dog gives a person with a disability independence. Never approach, distract or pet a working dog, especially when (s)he is in harness. Never be afraid to ask questions to the handler (parent). 22 Feb 2016 11:45:29am
re: Old stamp books for free
You can find the Luff book in the Second Volume of The Gazette here on the site.
A number of others are still to come in future editions.
