I hope I am not abusing the privilege; as I have one more I have pulled from my unknown box that I have wondered about for some time. It is one that I inherited from my father when he passed. And I believe he acquired it during his travels to Asia minor and the Middle East. Might I draw on the expertise of others one last time today to identify this item?
RoyalStranger,
How could your request be seen as anything other than a search for knowledge? As family, all questions are to be honored and attended to. You are now part of a 3,000+ member family, perhaps one of the very best around, and all seekers of knowledge are most welcome.

Wow! That is really amazing guys. Thanks for your help. And yeah, Dan; how about that loan? LoL
I had no idea that these stamps existed. Now that I have a starting place, I will research this private company to see what I can discover about their production of these stamps. There are many questions I have now that my curiosity is yearning to be answered. I definitely want to obtain more of these now that I am clear on what they are and their purpose. Does anyone have any idea or knowledge of sources for these?
I think smauggie may know something about this card.
EDIT
A couple of snippets:
I don't think this has been mentioned but the term 'Packetfahrt' is a compound word of 'packet' (just like the English) and 'fahrt'; travel (from the verb fahren; to travel). So the term means 'packet travel' but would be more accurately described as 'packet delivery'.
I understand there is a Michel Privatpostmarken catalogue of German local stamps and it lists 204 stamps from Berliner Packetfahrt Gesellschaft issued between 1884 and 1923. Perhaps someone can confirm this.
